It had to happen eventually... I knew that if I was ever going to make a "real" song, I was going to have to write lyrics and sing them. Though I took to guitar like a duck to water, vocals were... not so duck. At first, my singing voice was very unconfident and reserved. I couldn't get all the notes right and my range was pretty small. Still, this was another breakthrough point for me. I'd sung my first song! And I'd picked up a bass guitar by now and was on my way to making real rock songs. Though if you listen carefully to the middle part of this song, my love of the keyboard/guitar solo stuff still shines through just a little. I'm afraid I can't remember the lyrics to this one. |
