For the first time, I was leaving home to move to a different place. I wouldn't be able to take my studio with me. I was leaving my friends and family. For the first time in years I dropped the pride, along with the guitars and the complex rhythms and rock sound and just created a song from my heart. Very few people disagree that this is the saddest song I've ever written. |
